General Queries

CHECK IN time is 4PM on the day of your arrival; CHECK OUT time is 11AM on the day of your departure. We may be able to accommodate a change in these times but must know in advance. Please be sure to read the check out procedures in the house manual found in your suite.

We will send you the key codes for keyless entry within 24 hours of your check in time, usually the same day of your arrival before noon.
 
If you rented an upstairs unit please be sure to lock the exterior door at the bottom of the stairs upon exiting to ensure the safety of all guests.

We respond promptly to Airbnb messages and e-mails to vashoninn@gmail.com, which are the preferred method of communication. You may also text us at 206.714.5369 but online messages are sent to all staff who can assist you.

Complimentary parking is available on site in the lot north of the Inn. Please do lock your doors and take valuables with you.

People other than those in the rental party set forth in the booking may not stay overnight on the property. Any unlisted person on the property is the sole responsibility of the guest and is not covered by insurance. The rental party shall consist of the Guest and only persons listed in thebooking inquiry.
 
Maximum occupancy for each suite is limited to 4 persons.

The Inn is a great space for children and infants. We have a high chair and pack ‘n play available upon request for you as well as games and toys. We ask that you take care on the stairs if renting an upstairs unit because they are steep.
 
We have one suite that is pet friendly. We do have an additional $50 non-refundable pet charge that will be added to your booking per night.

Please do not smoke anywhere inside the Inn or on the front porch. Smoking cannabis and vaping is also prohibited inside the Inn. You may smoke on the property away from other guests but we ask that you properly dispose of any waste.

The Vashon Inn is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or inside the facilities. Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables by the guests including while parked in our lot. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others they invite to the premises.

Please keep the property and all the furnishings in good order; only use appliances for their intended uses and inform us upon arrival if anything is not in working order.

Quiet hours at the Inn are from 9pm – 7am. Please enter and exit the building quietly and be considerate of other guests.

There is no daily housekeeping service. Extra linens and bath towels are included in the unit. For longer stays, we will refresh linens and towels within an agreed upon time. All linens and towels must stay on property so please bring your own beach towels during the summer months.

Free cancellation for 48 hours after booking is processed. After that, cancel up to 7 days before check in and get a 50% refund, minus the service fee.
